Abergavenny Local History Society
Abergavenny Museum has close associations with Abergavenny Local History Society. The society has over 300 members and has a regular programme of lectures, summer trips and is involved with a variety of projects which support local history.

Lady Llanover Society
This society was established in 2003 by a group of Lady Llanover enthusiasts. The society has established an annual lecture and a programme of projects to promote and further Welsh Culture.

Father Ignatius Trust
The Father Ignatius Memorial Trust was established in 1966. It had the twin objectives of restoring what remained of the ruined church and tomb, and fostering its use as outdoor place of worship.
